- "I am Zaardon, the Soul Reaper!"
- —Zaardon[src]
Zaardon was an underling of Theo Galavan.
Biography[]
Working for Theo Galavan[]
Convinced that he was drinking "dragon's blood" from a chalice, Zaardon was given a form of liquid knockout gas by Theo Galavan. Later, on the streets of Gotham City he began to disrupt the peace, by taking out his gun and shooting. He later gets into a fight with Officer Gordon and is arrested by him. Putting up a fuss as he was put into the cell, he tells Gordon that dark days are coming. He is sent to Arkham Asylum and while standing on a table, and announcing himself, the knockout gas exits his body through his mouth, killing him and knocking out the inmates in the room.[1]
Personality[]
Zaardon is a simple minded criminal who strongly believed to be a mighty individual after he drank a drink given from Theo Galavan, thinking it is from a dragon blood where he drank it. He also simply followed the orders from Theo so that he can be arrested and then put in Arkham Asylum; when he got there, he said to the rest of the cellmates that he will suck their miserable souls, hence his nickname "Zaardon the Soulripper". The cellmates ridiculed on this while he preached, only to suddenly fall on the table in prison and die, releasing the liquid knockout gas to incapacitate the six cellmates as a part of Theo's plan to make an elite criminal group The Maniax.
