The Gotham Star is a newspaper published in Gotham City.
History[]
Ten years after the end of No Man's Land, The Gotham Star reported on the arrival of a mysterious vigilante who began attacking the criminal gangs in Gotham. Mayor Aubrey James read an issue of the newspaper about these attacks at Gotham City Hall when he was discussing the recent events with Commissioner James Gordon and Harvey Bullock.[1]

- The Gotham Star newspaper has previously also appeared on Batman: The Animated Series. In the 1993 BTAS episode Read My Lips, the Gotham Star reported on a massive crime wave that the Ventriloquist and Scarface unleashed on Gotham City.
- While the day and month is given on the cover, the newspaper's cover date does not show the current year due to the timeless nature of Gotham.
