The Self-perpetuating Generator is a next generation power generator model designed and created by Jeremiah Valeska. The development and manufacturing for the generators was managed and funded by Bruce Wayne and Wayne Enterprises. It is later revealed that Jeremiah created numerous generators as explosives to use against Gotham City.

History

After the Cataclysm, one of Jeremiah's bombs was repurposed to its original state as a generator by Lucius Fox. It was then used as a power source for the GCPD sector in the Upper West Side during No Man's Land.

When the No Man's Land year came to an end, the power generator at the GCPD was repurposed for the third time and once again turned into a bomb by Lucius. It was then used by Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle to blow up the Wayne Tower in Old Gotham in order to stop Bane and his army.
