Mace was the initial boss of the captives in the Dollmaker's headquarter's basement.
Biography
Having the only knife in the basement, Mace became the boss of the basement. After being persuaded by Fish Mooney into protecting her in exchange for Mooney's self-claimed "skills", that she possessed, when he later brought her to sit on his lap, she stabbed him in the throat with his own knife, killing him and taking his place as leader of the prisoners.[1]
