    • It is possible that the name of the Ogre was chosen for this character as he resembles the archetypal villain Bluebeard from the fairy-tale of the same name. Bluebeard having been noted as an ogre in the tale and being a serial-killer who seduces young women to murder.
  • This is the first live action incarnation of the Ogre.
  • Jason attended The Foxglove club where he first took a girl named Sally and badly damaged her face, although unlike his other victims, he then proceeded to let her go. The reason for this act was never explained.
