Constance van Groot was a member of the Van Groot family.
Biography
Constance had a butler named Jacob Skolimski who had a son with a disfigured face named Jason. Seemingly for personal entertainment she convinced the young boy that she was his mother, but she was a horrible "mother." She had no real feeling for the child and was disgusted by his "ugliness."
Death
Constance was murdered by Jason after he discovered that he wasn't her son and after she insulted him by saying no one would ever love him. Her corpse was guarded by his father for many years, and all the money that Jacob had came from Constance. Constance's corpse was later discovered by detectives Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock.[1]
