Cocoa Nuts is a brand of chocolate-flavored corn breakfast cereal. It is manufactured by Colomy's. A sweepstake on the back of the box read "500 Pairs of Colomy Binoculars Given Away!"

History

During No Man's Land, Magpie stole the Russifer Diamond from Penguin's treasure chamber at Gotham City Hall. Afterwards, Oswald went to Selina Kyle's place to ask her for help in tracking down the jewel thief. When he entered her apartment to make a deal, he found Selina eating Cocoa Nuts cereal after she had just cut off the fingers of two men who tried to murder her because they thought she killed Jeremiah Valeska.

• Cocoa Nuts cereal is based on Cocoa Puffs by General Mills.
• The Colomy's logo is very similar to the Kellogg's logo.

Trivia

• Camren Bicondova was allowed to keep the Cocoa Nuts cereal box prop when filming for the scene from "13 Stitches" wrapped.
• In February 2019, Camren Bicondova posted a photo of her and Robin Lord Taylor with the cereal box on Instagram. She remembered, "For episode 506 our PROPS Department asked me what cereal I’d like to eat in a scene. I said cocoa pebbles with almond milk. SO, Nikki, a genius in the department, made the box in the photo to make it acceptable for #Gotham’s terms. Robin and I decided to commemorate the gloriousness with a photo."
• The screen used Colomy's Cocoa Nuts cereal box and other objects from Camren Bicondova's personal collection were later auctioned by Celebrity Authentics in 2021. The prop along with a letter of authenticity signed by Camren Bicondova to verify the object's provenance was sold for $680.00 on March 6, 2021. According to the original description, the prop when assembled measures 11.5 inches tall, 9 inches wide and 2 inches deep.
