Bruce Wayne's ballistic implement is a mini boomerang in the shape of a bat used by Bruce Wayne as the Dark Knight as his primary weapon.

History

Bruce used these during his return to Gotham City as The Dark Knight. When the criminal Jeremiah Valeska attempted to throw Barbara Lee Gordon into the dangerous chemicals at the Ace Chemicals factory, Bruce interrupted him and proceeded to disarm Jeremiah with one of the boomerangs which ended up embedding into Jeremiah's hand.

 He then proceeded to throw one of the, to his head, knocking him down.

Mr. J is hit with a batarang and finally encounters the Dark Knight

Notes

• In the DC Comics, Batman uses the Batarangs to defeat or distract criminals.
• The Batarangs were previously foreshadowed in "Legend of the Dark Knight: Nothing's Shocking". In this episode, Bruce used small sharp blade pieces and threw them at the Toxin Exposed Man in a fashion similar to the Batarangs.
