Bane's life support suit is a containment suit created by Hugo Strange. After getting mortally injured, Eduardo Dorrance wore this suit to keep himself alive and went under the moniker of Bane.
History[]
After being subject to Venom experiments by Hugo Strange, Eduardo received this suit from him in order to keep him alive and functioning as well as keeping the Venom drug in his system. He is first seen wearing this suit during the kidnapping of General Wade.[1]
Capabilities[]
- Life Support: Bane wears this suit in order to keep him alive and functioning after being mortally wounded during his fight with Jim Gordon.
- Venom Delivery System: The suit has a system that injects the Venom Drug into Bane.
- Physical Enhancement: When on the Venom drug, Bane's strength and durability are increased to superhuman levels.
- Protection: The suit shown to be bulletproof, as seen when General Wade's men shot at him, but the bullets bounced off of his suit.
- Voice Modulator: The mask of the suit allows Bane to be herds behind his mask, but also deepens his voice for disguise and intimidation.
- Handgun holster: the thigh of the suit has a holster to carry a handgun.
- Knife sheath: The thigh also carries a sheath for a combat knife next to the gun holster.

- This is the fourth outfit crafted by Hugo Strange to be used for a villain on Gotham, with the first being the Firefly suit for Bridgit Pike, the second being the Cryo-suit for Mr. Freeze, and the third being the Azrael armor for Theo Galavan, all back in season 2.
Notes[]
- The outfit (such as the respirator mask) shares similarities to the Tom Hardy version of Bane from the 2012 movie The Dark Knight Rises.
