Notes:
- The character is considered to be an original creation of the show. Because of the use of certain names and/or aliases, the character is also considered to be a revamped version of a DC comic book character. Though because of the different backstory and/or name, the character is not considered to be exactly the same as the mainstream version, but only partly based on him/her.
- Even though the character was only referenced on the show, in "Wrath of the Villains: Azrael" the mantle of Azrael was taken by Theo Galavan, an original character created specifically for the series.
- Whilst being an original character for the show, Ecco shares a lot of similarities with Harley Quinn
- Even though the location's name is first revealed in the Gotham: City of Monsters novel, the location first appeared in the episode and is clearly a reference to a well-known Gotham location.
