Alice Pepper was the widow of the late Mario Pepper and the mother of Ivy Pepper.

Biography[]

Though a victim of domestic abuse, Alice is unwelcoming when James Gordon returns to try to piece together what really happened, regarding the Waynes' murder, given that he was on the front page of the Gotham Gazette as one of the "hero cops" who gunned Mario down. Not comprehending what he's doing, Alice was put off by Jim's request to see her husband's shoes.[1]

Death[]

Alice later commits suicide by slitting her wrists, leaving her daughter, Ivy Pepper in foster care. Ivy runs away and ends up on the streets.[2]
